FOLIO 01 / OBSERVATION → CONNECTION → APPLICATION

Curiosity led the way.
Service made it a practice.

I’m Jose M. Orozco—a massage therapist and interdisciplinary builder. I listen for patterns, connect ideas across disciplines, and turn what I learn into practical care for people and communities.

About the practice

Connecting hearts and minds through touch.

Across 21 years in practice, I’ve returned to one idea: touch can create meaningful connection between what we feel, what we understand, and how we live.

Bodywork Technologies opened in Denver in August 2022. The practice is built around listening, individualized care, consent, curiosity, and respect for the whole person.

I look for relationships among structure, movement, experience, and context. That same way of thinking guides work in research, recovery, community health, and local stewardship.

A many-lens practice

01

Listen for the pattern

The body, the person, and the environment all carry information.

02

Connect disciplines

Anatomy, movement, public health, research, and place can illuminate the same question.

03

Build for real people

Useful care remains clear, ethical, adaptable, and human.

04

Share the bridge

Leadership creates pathways other people can strengthen and carry forward.

Leadership perspective

Strategy has to work at human scale.

Hands-on practice taught me to read a room, ask better questions, protect trust, adapt in real time, and remain accountable to outcomes.

Those skills shape how I approach operations, programs, stakeholder relationships, research, and change.
